Region IV-B MIMAROPA

The Borders of Southern Tagalog Region (Region-IV) before former President Goloria Macapagal Arroyo signed Executive Order No. 103,s.2002 that transfer Aurora to Region III and then dividing further into two ( CALABARZON and MIMAROPA REGION)

It is located in South of the province of Batangas in Southern luzon and Northwest of the Visayas.

OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

MaritimenWonderland of luzon

Home of the Indigenous Mangyans

According to the history, Mindoro called  MAI  during chinese time.

MINA DE ORO named given by spanish when they colonized the Philippines. 

Meaning GOLD MINE

The island was once a single province from 1920-1950 when it was divided in 1950 into two; 

Occidental and Orriental Mindoro.

This region are enrich also interms of agricultures one of their products are; Corn,Mangoes,Coconuts,Sugar,rice,Orange and Kalamansi.

PAROLA PARK

It also known as Pressing Park it was named after the wife of Mayor Loreto Urieta during his term. One of the top tourist spot of the region.

It is attractive because of watch tower whicj allowed the natives to prey on muslim vintas.

and also it featured in many filipino teleserye as their one of the shooting place in movie. For only 10pesos per head you can reach it within 3hours from the San jose airport by bus.

And do you know that Carlos Loyzaga is from Occidental Mindoro.He is one of the pride of  occidental mindoro,He known as a famous basketball player and coach on his time and as of now.

APO REEF NATIONAL PARK

It took 3hours by bumpboat from the capital to Sablayan. And for the record, it is one of the famous island in the Philippines because of its wide and deep  Areas of water. 

Many tourist go here,specially those who love to swim (diver's).

ORRIENTAL MINDORO

Home of Indigenous Mangyan

Located 120 km south of Manila and 45 km south of Batangas.

Tourist Spot

 BALUARTE

It is located in lumang bayan, orriental Mindoro Philippines.

The site was featured a watchtower on a top also it is overlooking place. The most important value of this historical place is, it symbolized the strength and proved how local people protect their community to the anemies.

And you know what Mrs. Charo santos- concio,Ejay Falcon and lito castro, One of the Famous personality of the Philipines are from this region. The region of Orriental Mindoro.

MARINDOQUE 

The heart of the Philippines

According to the history Marindoque formed because of the tragic love affair between two People; which is Mariin and Gatduke. (Legend of the Philippines)

Marindoque derives from the mountain found in the province the Mt. Malindig or Malindog which means stand tall or elegant.

The spanish found it hard to pronounced malindig,so they coined "Marinduc  which change into marinduque finally.

Famous Attractions

TRES REYES ISLAND

The name of this island was come from the three Kings; Gaspar,melchor and Baltazar which comprises the Tres Reyes island.

The First Island was named Gaspar island,The biggest among the 3 island.Also it is the only short streeth of white sand beach where cottaged are available.

Second, the Milchor island.This island are mostly covered of trees and steep cliff.

lastly,The Baltazar island.The most famous among the three island,For it's beautiful  dive site,added also the corals and wide variety of marine life.

BATHALA CAVES

Located at Barangay Ipil,Marinduque island.10km from santa cruz.

According to the local People who lived here, This cave is very mythical and powerful.

It composed of Natural rocks formations creating a church like interior.

ROMBLON

Marble Capital of the Philippines

It is located almost at the center of the Philippine archipelago.

The province of Romblon lies in the sibuyan sea.

Romblon's name was formerly called lomlon (An act of a hen  nesting to warm her eggs.) Then it was Domblon before it finally became romblon.

Romblon known for its product that made of marbles.

info: You known what? Zaijan Jaranilla a famous child actor in the Philippines was born here.

MAINIT FALLS

Location: Brgy. Pato-o,odiongan,tablas romblon.

You can climb,jump and swim to the warm water of mainit falls.

The word mainit "HOT" in english.

This watet named after the hotspring found upriver where locals citizen or even those tourist who experiencing of water in mainit falls. They say,that you can boil an egg because of the warm of the water here.

Maybe it is possible,why you can try to visit here to see and experience the warmed of the water.

FORT SAN ANDRES

Located at Barangay Panay island,Romblon.

If you are on top of it,You free to see the town of Romblon island.

By the way it is similar to the Fort.Santa Isabel of Taytay Palawan,It is also contructed during spanish times.

Aside from being a marble capital of the Philippines.Romblon are one the region that colonized also the spaniard the reason why it is blessed in historical  and heritage site.

In fact, it have many historical structure here during spanish period. The reason why many tourist are really interested to go there. Because they want to know the history behind those structures aside from also that it is a beautiful place.

Lastly.....

PALAWAN

The last frontier of the Philippines

It is a long and Narrow trends Northeast-Soutjwest between south china and sulu sea.

Palawan's name come into many process.

chinese- "Pa-lao-Yu" (beautiful harbors)

Indians- Palawan ( Territory)

Netives- Palwa ( plant)

American- Paragua ( closed umbrella)

Palawan best product saler is  casew, it is very in demand to the tourist that comes in Palawan.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

TABON CAVE

Found in Lipuun Point,north of Quezon municipality ,in the south western part of the province of Palawan on Palawan island, in the Philippines.

Tabon cave is the place where scientist discover a skull of human and they called it Tabon Man.

They believed that this is the oldest evidence of human that lives cave thousand years ago.

For the final end of this blog, i just wanna say that I'm so blessed and thankful.
